As with the original Furbies there are lots of ways to interact with it; you can feed it, speak to it, tickle it, listen to music with it, shake it (If you want to make your Furby un-happy) and even turn it upside down for a new reaction. But we warn you, be careful as how you treat your Furbies will change and shape it’s personality.
Furbies will take on many different personalities and depending on how you play with it will depend on how it changes. Play nice and your Furby will be nice and love you! Be horrid and cruel and your Furby will not want to play and won’t interact with you.
When you take your Furby out the box for the first time it will speak mainly Furbish (That’s Furbys native language)
The more you play with it, the more you speak to it the more English it will speak and eventually your Furby will mainly speak English.
While you are teaching Furby to speak English you can use your Furbish dictionary or iPhone app to translate furbish to english.
Other ways to interact with your 2013 Furby is to tickle it and stroke it, there are many sensors all over it’s body that respond to touch and movement so be sure to experiment while you play. If you turn it upside down or pull it’s tail you will make your Black & Red Furby angry.. Grrrr!
If you play your favorite music Furby will dance and sing along, Furby may decide to prefer certain music as it’s tastes evolve through its experiences.
The LED eyes are expressive and will change depending on it’s mood, there are 10 different expressions.
As mentioned there is now a free iPhone/iPad app you can download to translate Furbish but also to feed your new friend with a huge assortment of foods; from burgers, to sandwiches, pizza and even chilli! You can make your own creations and Furby will decide what food it likes and will let you know with a naughty burp! (That always gets the kids laughing!) The App is optional and works with iPad, iPod touch and iPhone with iOS 4.2 or later.
